Lutein and zeaxanthin are the two key carotenoid pigments stored in the macula and may promote the integrity and density of the macular pigment through their antioxidant properties. We went the extra mile to ensure our super vision formula is extra rich in zeaxanthin (concentrated from pure marigold – not synthetic sources). Zeaxanthin is considered by some experts to be the strongest, most important antioxidant carotenoid found in the retina.
